The World and Conflict
The Age of Manatek
The game is set in a world flourishing in the Age of Mana Crystals. The capital, Alexandria, shines as a beacon of innovation, supported by fertile lands and diverse inhabitants.
This era of transformation is driven by Manatek, a rising technology that has brought great prosperity, from the mundane to unimaginable innovations. However, Manatek demands more spoils from the living dungeon, secured by daring guilds.
The Mana Break
The constant extraction of resources is disturbing a fragile balance and placing new strain on the crystals. This instability leads to Rifts appearing more frequently. If left unchecked, these Rifts unleash a calamity known as the Mana Break, threatening the lively city gates, harbor, and capital.
Your Journey: The Guild
You make your home in Alexandria, where many races and cultures coexist.
The Adventure District
Your journey begins in the heart of the Adventure District. Your Guild's common room serves as your command center for planning expeditions and managing Guild operations. It is also a crucial gathering spot for your companions.
Guild Master Responsibilities
As the Guild Master, you will handle daily tasks, share stories, and form the bonds that will shape your journey. Your members are your greatest allies, and spending time together fosters deeper relationships, reveals new places to hang out, and leads to unexpected adventures.
You have the freedom to decide whether you will be kind and noble, ruthless and ambitious, or dance somewhere in between.
Core Activities
To advance your Guild's rank, you must engage in several core activities:
- Expeditions and Combat: Plan and carry out increasingly daring expeditions, including hunting Kaiju, sealing Rifts, and reclaiming outposts.
- Companion Selection: Decide how to approach each mission and who will join you. Their abilities (or lack thereof) will shape the strategy and outcome of the expedition.
- Resource Management: Gather Kaiju parts and dungeon resources to sell them for profit, upgrade your equipment, or craft powerful new gear.
- Life Simulation: Build a thriving farm, ranch Kaimon (harvesting their parts or riding them), and recreate the living dungeon's crops.
- Investment & Customization: Spend your earnings on upgrading the guild and building facilities, supporting your companions, or indulging in personal luxuries like revamping your look or decorating your home.
- World Engagement: Roam Eldoria's landscape and engage with the world through activities like greeting passing adventurers, stirring up fun or trouble, or negotiating out of sticky situations.
- Evolving World: The world evolves with changing seasons, bringing new resources, festivities, and demands. You can also lend a hand to the locals, fish by the river, and join Kaimon races.
